Introducing Mirth Studio's new 7.25" Artisanal Wall Tiles!
Patterned Wall Tiles
Solid Wall Tiles
Introducing our new collection of hand crafted Artisanal Wall Tiles! These tiles have been distressed to give a warm patina to our luxurious designs. The 7.25" x 7.25" size is reminiscent of traditional encaustic tiles. The texture and grain of the wood is very apparent allowing the tile's beautiful natural wood to shine. Just like trees in nature, no two are exactly alike so the tiles retain a hand-painted, one of a kind feel.
Our Artisanal tiles were designed specifically as decorative accents for walls, but they can also be used on furniture, applied to kitchen islands as well as installed as a backsplash in a kitchen. The tiles are distressed to resemble reclaimed wood and have a slightly rough natural surface. These tiles do not come pre finished so if installed as backsplash in an area with water, it is necessary to coat them with a sealer to keep out the moisture.
It is recommended for the tiles to be glued onto the wall, but Velcro fasteners may also be used for easy removal. The tile are very light weight and easy to install weighing only 5.5 oz. each.
Any of our 12" x 12" engineered wood tiles can be applied to walls, ceilings, used as backsplashes, headboards and furniture!
