Have you ever wished that you could update your floor but you need a temporary solution or one that is budget friendly and requires no construction, glue or mess?
We've got a genius solution for you!
Our temporary vinyl floor decals are extremely durable stickers that can be applied over an existing floor or if you need a subfloor, cheap VCT works perfectly. They are about the thickness of a bumper sticker but have a serious heavy duty laminate over the top that helps them stand up to high traffic. The 12" x 12" size decals are low tack and adjustable which makes installation a breeze.
All you need to do is peel, stick, and repeat! It's that simple.
The ideal solution for those who are renting or who love to make changes often since they can be removed and will not damage the existing floor.
STEP 1: PEEL THE DECAL
STEP 2: STICK THE DECAL ONTO THE DESIRED SURFACE
These can be applied not only to the floor, but also to walls, furniture, or any other DIY project that makes your heart go pitter patter.
As a side note, don't forget that we recommend to test a sample in an inconspicuous place first if you will need to remove them in the future.
STEP 3: REPEAT UNTIL YOUR FLOOR IS COMPLETE
Make your cuts as needed! Since the decals are thin, they are easily cut with scissor or an Exacto knife which makes installation a snap.
When installed properly, these decals will last though years of abuse, however dropping sharp objects (like a knife) or dragging furniture can cause damage. Also, if they are installed improperly (like if the decals are overlapped), dirt can become trapped underneath and cause the decals to peel. For this reason, we suggest to order extras! Then you'll be prepared if accidents happen.
The silicone backing when removed, becomes a waste product. To keep this out of the landfills, please send them back to Mirth Studio and we will recycle them...AND pay the return shipping! How's that for a deal?
